Following students of Class XI -C were revered today with Star of the Month Badge for the month of December, 2013.

1. Varsha Sharma (consecutively) for being the Class Monitor for Girls and having remarkable achievement in Yoga.
2. Varun Yadav (consecutively) for being the Class Monitor for Boys.
3. Gaurav Manglani - (consecutively) He has shown remarkable imprints in the class by taking care of his studies and scoring excellent marks.
4. Kawalpreet - She is the class topper in academics and has shown excellent achievements in the field of sports. For her efforts she deserved the most.
5. Aashi - For her readiness to accomplish any task and scoring good results in academics.

There are more gems in the class and it has been a pleasure having the opportunity to be with you all.

Class you did put in all of your efforts in making this Diwali Celebrations a true community festival. Diwali is meant for joy not crackers. Take joy and celebrations with you this Diwali.

Landforms and their Evolution - CAL Room Presentation

 

During the last two weeks (26 July to 3 August 2013) the Geography students of Class XI-C took part in the Smart Class Activity on Chapter 'Landforms and their Evolution'. They explored the different landforms, their characteristic features, change brought on them by Geomorphic Agents. 

 

This activity was for those students who do not have internet connectivity at home. This e-lesson was created using open source free tool. This e-course material has animations, images, panorama views, online articles, audio, inter-activities  quizzes, close activities, multiple choice question for self assessing, assignments, and summaries through mind maps. This e-course material has helped me in delivering the most time consuming chapter in one go.
